Monday is usually a day that Tdisc goes out on there own before meeting up for raceday tuesday. Being the year of the triathlon Tdisc decided to push the envelope and go with a bike ride and a swim. Two men left winsloe en route to the Tdisc Training Centre on monday...they left the same house...they took the same route...but took 2 very different attitudes. Tdiscadmiral's attitude was in the words of a teamate "pathetic". After getting off a mediocre bike ride he was quoted as saying "*#$&in 10 minutes to swim". When the leader goes down like he did today...it gives another member the opportunity. Tdiscgreggy did that today. It was a great lift for the team during a low point. His swim was simply inspirational. Thank you Tdiscgreggy. In the post workout news conference...Tdisckree refering to Tdiscadmiral had this to say "We expect more out of him....i'm sure he'll bounce back tommorow and put in a good race."
It was an overall sluggish day for the team....we were reallying feeling the effects of a hard sunday swim. It'll be interesting to see how we respond tommorow on the run.
For the second time in as many days....a fellow swimmer got "TDISCED". It happened about 10 minutes into the swim when she jumped into a lane with 2 Tdisc members. She quickly relized that she had jumped in with Tdisc and opted to switch lanes.
