Big gun sends message to rookie

"Being a coach is sometimes like driving a team of horses. Some days you need to yell, and sometimes you need to show em the whip, but some days you just hold on to your hat and the reigns and hope the clydedales don't kill someone or themselves...That was Today!" -Coach Tdisckree

Since the admiral's meltdown back in late september of '08 we have always kinda went easy on Monday's. Well...this is a new year and I quickly found out that things have changed. A light outdoor jog turned into a track workout that could be referred to as borderline insane.

When we arrived at the TTF this morning the coach was waiting at the door for us, ready to put us through a track circuit followed by a weights circuit. He took some flack from the admiral for this, but once he let the admiral know it was going to be hard he then gave in and we all proceeded to the track. We ran a km then ran the steps out back 5 times. We did this 5 times. I consider myself to be in decent shape right now and today I was doing everything I could to hang on for dear life. We brought in Josh patterson to ride shotgun with the big guy and today the admiral let him know that she's going to be a long winter bucko. I can't imagine what kind of shape we're all going to be in if Josh sticks with the team.

Everything seems to be going too well at the moment. Bryan has been at bay...the rook has not quit...yet....and greggy hasn't been late or blocked the admiral in. Tomorrow we all hit the pool.....could be a blog worth reading!

Till next time,
Tdiscpye
