Rookie begins to fade

We've all seen this before. All guns a blazing in the first week and then it wears off and it's not so much fun the second week. Complaining of tiredness the rookie tried to convince us that there were no lanes to swim in this morning. As we looked for ourselves we noticed 3. We all went through this lull and i'm sure the rookie will bounce back just like us.

I haven't really enjoyed the pool that much lately. I just feel like my stroke is a little off and just a bit weak. Today we all went our separate ways...doing our own thing. The funny point of the morning came when the rookie raced the admiral with his head out of the water staring at him. The admiral wasn't fazed and continued on with his routine of swim hard. It was a very uneventful day. We were happy to have our captain back and excited to have the coach back tomorrow.

It's sprint day again tomorrow. It's a miracle that noone has left a groin on admiral hill yet. Knock on wood!

Till next time,
