The year that was tdisc tdiscgreggy style‏

The first year of T.Disc has been a wonderful experience for me. I got to train with three great athletes, and I learned a lot from them. I could not be happier with this great team, and I could not have picked a better group of guys to spend EVERY MORNING at 6:30am with. Some of the major moments that stick out in my mind are.

Most Inspirational moments,

· Being Partners with Coach TDISCKREE in the Red Isle

· Being named Captain of Tdisc

· The first T.Disc pep rally, where john had his shirt tucked in with no belt

· Flickers deep email that made me rethink my whole life, with his reflection

· The big four making goals and accomplishing them

· Two top ten finishes in Red Isle

· Finishing my first triathlon

· The countless times I woke up for workouts to the smell of burnt English muffins

· The rise of the blog

· Numerous shout outs on K-Rock on Tuesdays runs. Along with mention on the website

· Being a part of kree stag, (watching the umps “ring um up” at the stag) and of course the wedding in Newfoundland.

Funniest Moments,

· Wayne Gairns chirping everyone at his first spin class

· Flicker sweating more in one workout, than I do in a week

· Witnessing the admiral trip on the side walk and roll into the ditch

· $1000 new bike, $500 bike equipment, three early mornings, Vessey getting cut, priceless

· Timmys single appearance, making it one lap before coughing up a whole lung at CARI

· The Spa lurkers…enough said

· Getting a phone call from CARI about their relationship with the admiral

· Coach Kree not taking off his towel for his first time in a ying fa, While the admirals towel never left his shoulder.

· Dev breathing in spin class

· Base runner at TDK stag

· Flickers relationship with other triathletes

Not negative moments, but stepping stones

· Watching kree shut it down and whip pitch a flutter board all the way across the spa pool

· Kris and Pye retiring numerous times but never at the same time

· The admirals hernia

· Getting called out by Scott about our board shorts

· The hours and hours and hours of thunder talk

· Blocking admirals car in

· Pye’s silent treatment when he used to fall behind in a run

· My many thoughts of retirement when being left behind on every bike ride. But never retiring, and never will.

· The admirals hamstrings

· Pye and the adversaries

Tdisc has been more than a team but a family. A lot has happened since the start of tdisc and as a team we have been there for each other. From TDK getting married, TDG graduating, TDP beating TDTW in a 10k and his trip to Japan, Soon to be TDTW having her first child with the admiral. In all the major points of our lives, tdisc has been there to support and help in any way. Because that is a team gentleman, that’s all it is……

Thank you Tdisc,

Captain Tdiscgreggy
