I woke up today thinking...holy cow...I just went to sleep..awww time to get up. With a 1 hour swim planned for the morning we pushed it back to a 7 o'clock start but it was still extremely painful. To sum up this mornings workout i'll direct you to an article published shortly after the swim.
Charlottetown :
On a quiet monday morning three of the big four quickly put to rest the feelings and memories of this past weekends race. A more out-spoken Admiral was clearly looser and more talkative with the media today. Apparently having the first race in the books has taken a little of the pressure off the big gun heading into the season. However, he stressed he's not sitting on his podium finish and stated " Its a good start, but its only a start. We have to set our sights on the DQ race in two weeks. We'll train hard the next 10 days and then pull back before race-day. Perhaps at the end of the season I'll enjoy my bronze medal a little more, but right now myself and the team are focused on race #2." The team covered a lot of ground in the pool today and seemed quite comfortable in the water. One ommission from the workout today was the Captain TDISCGREGGY. The team did not comment on his status but said there are no injuries and no troubles within the team. The Outdoor Race-Day sponsored by ElleDiva slated for tommorrow may be cancelled due to inclement weather. The team may race indoors or re-arrange schedule for a race to occur on Wed. Keep an eye on www.bloggingwithtdisc.blogspot.com for updates on Tdisc training schedule.

I felt good in the pool again today, but this time I was a little less motivated. The high of the first race has worn off and now it's back to the grind. When someone is struggling we often throw a quote there way...today when I was voicing my concern about my motivation tdisckree looked at me and said..."you just have to keep on keepin on".
As the article pointed out we had one noticeable absentee from today's workout. Our captain Tdiscgreggy. As reports have suggested he has no injuries and there is no troubles between him and the team. This past week he moved out from under the roof of the admiral to allow for a place for the admirals mother and grandmother to stay. Reports indicate that this may have pushed Tdiscgreggy back to the scene of the crime. Tdisc support staff is working around the clock to get tdiscgreggy back under the guidance of the admiral as quickly as possible. Incase your new to the blog...early on Tdiscgreggy was known as the team's "loose cannon". Come back soon Captain.
Tommorow as you all know is Tuesday race day. We don't know what to expect other than it will be probably the fasted raceday in team history. The admiral has shown he can race with the best....he'll look to put a dent in to tdiscgreggy's lead in the points standings. You don't want to miss it!
Till next time,
Tdiscpye
"As a captain, I think it's important that the players really know who you are and what you stand for, what your beliefs are, and to be consistent in those if things are going good or things are going bad." -Mark Messier
