I have sooooo much to do today....it's going to be tough to find time to sit down and blog...so I have decided that when I get news i'll send it through the blog in pieces. Late last night an email was sent to the blog administrator from the admiral via his agent.
The admiral asked me to send this message along because he wants to rest every appendage he has, including his fingers for the weekend.
"I'm not nervous, I'm not scared and I'm not anxious. I'm hungry.
All I have to say to the competition is 'feed me.'"

TDISC is proud to announce the 1st Annual TDisc Santa Claus Run – to raise money for families at Christmas. This is an opportunity for us to give back to families in our community who are in need. As a team we feel that we are very fortunate in all aspects of our lives especially with the support we get daily from those around us. Over the next month we will focus our attention on raising funds to support other families who are in need at this time of year.
On December 12, all five members of Tdisc will participate in the “Ole Charlottetown 5k Christmas Run.” Each member will be dressed in a full Santa Claus costume (beard and all). In doing this, Tdisc will seek pledges/ donations that will go towards gift packages for local families. All of the proceeds raised will go towards these gift packages.
To support this cause you can give monetary donations of $5, $10, $20, or other. You can also donate gift cards that can be included in the packages. Tdisc will deliver the packages on December 19th, so the deadline for donations will be December 12th. Everyone who donates to the cause will be recognized on the Tdisc blog (www.bloggingwithtdisc.blogspot.com) The blog will also give daily updates on the funds raised.
Our team would like to thank you in advance for your support to this cause. We are very excited and optimistic about this project and look forward to delivering each Christmas package on December 19th.

About Tdisc.
Team Discovery was started by 4 members in the September of '08. The goal was simple...become the greatest triathlon team of all time. In October of '08 the team name was altered to TDISC. The 4 members who would soon become known as "the big four" were John Brioux(TDiscadmiral), Ryan MacPhee(TDiscpye), Greg Gairns(TDiscgreggy), and Kris MacPhee(TDisckree). They started training at the spa total fitness center in the early days but at day 104 moved to their own private facility...the TTF(TDisc Training Facility) in the Cari Complex. "The big four" are now close to 200 days into their rollarcoaster-like journey of triathlon training. If you are new to this blog, we say ...welcome...and we also say buckle up ! It'll be the ride of your life !
